Join us in the heart of our working studio for a weekly dose of creativity! This Clay Club session is dedicated entirely to the art of Throwing Minis on the potter’s wheel.
Designed for anyone who wants to jump into this fun wheel-throwing technique in a relaxed, social environment. It’s the perfect way to spend a Thursday afternoon or Saturday morning—whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned hobbyist.

Whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned hobbyist, you’re invited to pull up a stool and create with us.
The Experience
These sessions are all about exploring mini creations on the wheel! You’ll pull up a stool, enjoy the relaxing flow of centering small amounts of clay, and craft your own mini pots, vases, vessels, or plates.
(Please note: Space is limited to 6 guests per session to ensure everyone gets hands-on wheel instruction!)
How it Works:
Flexible Attendance: Come once to try it out, or join us regularly to refine your mini-throwing skills.
The Process: As with all things clay, your minis won’t be ready to take home the same day. They need time to dry thoroughly and undergo their first firing in our kiln.
Glazing Your Pieces: After your clay session, you have two options to finish your creations with colorful and durable glazes:
Studio Glazing (Included): Queenston Pottery will glaze your pieces for you at no additional cost.
The Glazing Experience ($60): Book a dedicated hands-on session to return to the studio and glaze your creations yourself.
You can select your preferred glazing option on the day of your session.

Just bring your curiosity (and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty); we’ll provide the clay, the wheels, the tools, and expert instruction!
