Join us at Queenston Pottery for a hands-on clay experience that’s perfect for festival-goers, friends, families, and groups looking for something fun and creative to do. It’s the ideal artistic break in between wine tastings and tours.

About the Workshop

  • Who: Ages 12+, no prior experience needed

  • What: Sculpt a partially dried wine cup (leather-hard) into an expressive face or creative form using clay, tools, and expert guidance

  • Why: It’s a fun, creative activity that lets your imagination come to life

Our friendly ceramic artists will be on hand to guide you, answer questions, offer tips, and help you create something truly unique.

Where It Takes Place

In our working studio and gallery — the heart of Queenston Pottery, creating handmade pottery in Niagara-on-the-Lake for 47 years. It’s a cozy, welcoming space that makes the perfect creative backdrop.

What’s Included

  • One leather-hard wine cup (your sculpting canvas)

  • All materials and specialized tools

  • Expert instruction in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere

  • Professional glazing & firing — ready for pick-up or shipping in 8–12 weeks

  • Access to the studio and multi-level gallery

  • Hot chocolate bar to warm up while you explore

Cost: $60 per person
Groups of 6 or more can request alternate scheduling.

Shipping is available for an additional charge, based on location.
