The Experience
There is no set syllabus here; instead, we embrace the rhythm of the studio. Every week features a different project or technique, ranging from the meditative flow of the potter’s wheel to the intricate details of sculpting and handbuilding.
Possible projects include:
On the Wheel: Introduction to throwing. From mini’s to “wonky” bowls and more (Limited to 6 guests on throwing days!)
Sculpted Works: Honey pots, wine cups, and garlic keepers.
Slab & Surface: Wall vases, garden stakes, nature tiles, and carved candle holders.
Home Accents: Hump platters, mirrors, and our signature fish or rooster ovals.
Small and Dainty: Shoe lace charms, ornaments, and earrings
How it Works:
Flexible Attendance: Come once to try it out, or join us every week to build your skills.
The Process: As with all things clay, your pieces won’t be ready to take home the same day. They need time to dry and undergo their first firing.
Glazing: We will schedule dedicated glazing sessions so you can return to add the finishing colors and kiln-fired shine to your own creations.

Just bring your curiosity (and clothes you don’t mind getting a little dusty), we’ll provide the clay, the tools, and the inspiration!
