Featuring: Robin Nisbet
Robin Nisbet is an acrylic artist whose work is deeply inspired by the Canadian landscape and the quiet, grounding nature of the painting process. Working through many layers, Robin creates depth and atmosphere, allowing quick, spontaneous brushstrokes to capture the unexpected moments that bring her paintings to life.
Born in Ottawa, Robin received her Bachelor of Studio Arts (Honours) with a concentration in digital media from Brock University. Her artistic journey reflects a lifelong passion for creativity, with early experience as a graphic artist before returning to school to pursue fine art. Her studio degree work culminated in a group exhibition at Rodman Hall in 2017.
Robin works across a diverse range of mediums, including painting, illustration, photography, and digital art. She is also an art instructor and workshop facilitator, and enjoys collaborating with other artists. Robin lives and works in the Niagara Region, and her work can be found in private collections in Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Meet Robin in person, learn about her layered and intuitive process, and discover the inspiration behind her expressive landscape paintings.
RSVPs for Meet the Artist Day are welcome but not required; this is a free event.
