Featuring: Susan Little
Susan Little is a graduate of OCAD University’s Illustration and Design program and brings a rich background in magazine art direction, graphic design, and illustration to her fine art practice. Her paintings reflect the dynamic influence of design principles, bold composition, movement, and colour, translated into expressive acrylic works.
Susan’s latest series, How My Garden Grows, explores her joyful fascination with flowers, blending botanical reference with imagination and playful abstraction. Using thick-to-thin acrylic techniques, Susan creates vibrant compositions where colour dances across the canvas, inviting viewers to experience beauty, curiosity, and delight.
In addition to florals, Susan’s work spans landscapes, abstracts, tropical fish, and cityscapes. She is also an experienced workshop instructor, teaching watercolour and acrylic painting throughout the Niagara Region. Susan is passionate about sharing her knowledge, believing that creativity is meant to be explored and enjoyed together.
Meet Susan in person, learn about her creative process, and explore the inspiration behind her joyful, colour-rich paintings.
RSVPs for Meet the Artist Day are welcome but not required; this is a free event.
