Visiting Artist Program Featuring Nancy Wardle at Queenston Pottery

We're thrilled to welcome Nancy Wardle, an acclaimed figurative and portrait artist from Niagara-on-the-Lake, to Queenston Pottery as part of our Visiting Artist Program. This special exhibition highlights Nancy's expressive acrylic and oil paintings, which beautifully blend realism and abstraction, inviting viewers into deeply emotional and personal moments.

About the Artist

Nancy Wardle is a proud member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, The Portrait Society of Canada, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Arts Collective. Her work is known for its unique ability to evoke the spirit of her subjects—capturing resilience, joy, and hope through richly layered brushwork and vibrant color palettes. Her pieces radiate realism from a distance and reveal an abstract complexity that draws the viewer in up close.

Event Highlights

This Exclusive Exhibition will feature Nancy's latest work. We are excited to see which unique pieces she will share in our Gallery.

During her Meet the Artist Day on Saturday, August 23, from 1:00 to 4:00, engage with Nancy, hear her story, and discover the inspiration behind her art. Nancy will be working on her newest painting at that time, and you will see it evolve as she paints.

You may inquire directly with Nancy about custom portrait commissions.

Nancy's work will be featured at Queenston Pottery, 1648 York Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake, from July 31 to September 1, 2025.

Don't miss the opportunity to experience this moving and memorable exhibition by one of Niagara's most expressive contemporary artists.
