About the Artist
Colleen Green is an award-winning Canadian encaustic painter who works with beeswax, damar resin, and oil pigments to create richly layered, dynamic scenes. Her paintings reflect both real and imagined places, combining vibrant color with meticulous technique. During the pandemic, she began incorporating intricate dot patterns into her work, adding energy and rhythm that have become a signature element of her style.
Originally from Maynooth, Ontario, and now living in Prince Edward County, Colleen has shown her work across Ontario and is a regular contributor to Art in the County, where she has won multiple juried awards, including the Carson Arthur Award and Best Landscape at the Art Gallery of Bancroft.
What to Expect
