Visiting Artist Program Featuring Susan Little

We’re delighted to welcome Susan Little to Queenston Pottery as part of our Visiting Artist Program. This vibrant exhibition features Susan’s acrylic paintings, in which her background in illustration and graphic design infuses every composition with energy, movement, and joyful expression.

About the Artist

Susan Little is a graduate of OCAD University’s Illustration and Design program in Toronto. Her career spans magazine art direction, graphic design, and illustration, experiences that continue to influence her bold, dynamic approach to fine art painting.

Her latest series, How My Garden Grows, reflects a deep love of flowers, blending botanical reference with imagination and playful colour. Working with thick-to-thin acrylics, Susan creates paintings that feel alive—designed to spark joy and invite beauty into the viewer’s day. Landscapes, abstracts, tropical fish, and cityscapes also feature prominently in her work.

Susan is passionate about sharing her knowledge and has recently led watercolour and acrylic workshops for local art groups throughout the Niagara Region. She believes teaching is both rewarding and great fun—an extension of her creative practice.
